Kelly buys a sweater for $16.79 and a pair of pants for $28.49. She pays with a $50 bill. How much change should Kelly get back?

Hey there!

All we have to do is add up all the money she spent, then subtract $50


$16.79 + $28.49 = $45.28

Now, we subtract

$50 - $45.28 = $4.72


Therefore, Kelly should receive $4.72 in change.
