When the sides are the same legnth, that is max area
(I can find the max area with calculus but I don't think you know that)
so
if we assume that they are equal
L=W
376=perimiter
P=2(L+W)
376=2(L+W)
376=2(L+L)
376=2(2L)
376=4L
divide both sides by 4
94=L

the dimeintions are 94 by 94, if we mulipy we get 8836ft

C is answer

(note: for those people who say rectangles have to have different side legnths, that is incorrect because the requirement is 4 right angles, all squares are recangles, but not all rectangles are squares)

C is answer

Nataly_w [17]

Answer D). 9 ft is correct

Height of the ball at a horizontal distance of 10 feet is 9 ft

Step-by-step explanation:

A ball is thrown and it follows a parabolic path. At each horizontal distance (x) the following equation models the ball’s height (y).

Y(x) = -0.02x^{2} +0.8x+3

Question asked is " What will be height (Y) of the ball when X=10 ft "

Simply putting value of X in given equation

we get,

Y(x) = -0.02x^{2} +0.8x+3

Y(x) = -0.02(10)^{2} +0.8(10)+3

Y(x) = -0.02(100)} +8+3

Y(x) = -2 +8+3

Y(x) = 9

<em>Therefore,</em> Height of the ball at a horizontal distance of 10 feet is 9 ft

Answer D.  9 ft is correct

Each week Charlene uses 3/4 of a bag of cat food to feed her cats. She has 112 bags of cat food in stock. How long will her stoc
inessss [21]

The stock of cat food will last for 149 weeks.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

Bags of cat food in stock = 112

Bags used each week = \frac{3}{4}\ of\ one\ bag

Let,

x be the number of weeks.

Therefore,

\frac{3}{4}x=112

Multiplying both sides by 4/3

\frac{4}{3}*\frac{3}{4}x=112*\frac{4}{3}\\x=\frac{448}{3}\\x=149.33

Rounding off to nearest whole number;

x=149

The stock of cat food will last for 149 weeks.
