Answer: The measure of angle ABC is 65 degrees.

Step-by-step explanation:

2x- 15 + 2x - 15 + x + x =360

6x  - 30 = 360

      + 30    + 30

6x = 390

x= 65

check:   2(65) - 15 = 115

115 + 115 + 65 + 65 = 360

Answer:

ABC = 65

Step-by-step explanation:

The sum of the angles of a quadrilateral are 360

2x-15 + x + 2x-15 +x = 360

Combine like terms

6x -30 = 360

Add 30 to each side

6x -30 +30 = 360+30

6x= 390

Divide by 6

6x/6 = 390/6

x=65

We want angle ABC

ABC = x

ABC = 65

Given a quadratic function in vertex form:
Alja [10]

Answer:

See below

Step-by-step explanation:

Part A

A vertical stretch takes place when a\cdot f(x) given that  |a| > 1

Part B

A vertical compression takes place when a\cdot f(x) given that 0 < |a| < 1

Part C

A vertical stretch is different than a horizontal compression:

  • In a vertical stretch, the input stays the same, but the output is multiplied by the scale factor
  • In a horizontal compression, the output stays the same, but the input is multiplied by the scale factor

Part D

A reflection across the x-axis means that the output, our y-variable, is the opposite sign. This means that all values of a must be negative such that a\cdot f(x) as mentioned in parts A and B. Also, in part C, since our scale factor is negative, the output is the only one being multiplied by the scale factor.

Julia and Cody are working together on solving math problems. For every one problem that Julia
slega [8]

Answer:

Cody has solved (12 × 12) = 144 problems.

Step-by-step explanation:

For every one problem that Julia completes, Cody completes twelve.

If Julia Completes x problems and Cody completes y problems, then we can write y = 12x ........ (1)

Now, given that the number of problems solved by Cody is one hundred twenty more than two times the number of problems solved by Julia.

Hence, 2x + 120 = y ......... (2)

Now, from equations (1) and (2) we get,

2x + 120 = 12x

⇒ 10x = 120

⇒ x = 12

Therefore, Cody has solved (12 × 12) = 144 problems. (Answer)
