It is Simile

It's not an idiom because an idiom is saying that something is even though it isn't. example- (a white lie) a lie isn't white nor a color.

It's not metaphor because I chose that for my test which was the same question and it was wrong.

It's not personification because it's when it includes something nature or animal like.

11. Thiss question has two parts 1. List some important ideas The watsons go to birmingham-1963 includes. Why did you choose tho
lora16 [44]

For the first part of the question, the ideas that you can list are discrimination, segregation. Why? Because the story talks about an African American family, so the events narrated are related to the discrimination that Africans Americans suffered around 1963. An example of this can be the description of the incident with the church, in the second part of the book.

The story also talks about the school environment, how the kids behave, their friendship and their problems. That can be another idea, childhood.

For the second part of the question, using a role is helps to understand because you can relate better with each character. The vocabulary is easier to understand. Is kind of a friend telling a story.

Burlesque humor is a literary device which is used to cause laughter. This could be done in many ways: by caricaturing the serious topic or just treating the subjects ridiculously. One example of burlesque in The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is Huck's attempt to rescue Jim after learning that he has been sold.
