It's been a year since my class read Percy Jackson so I'm not entirely sure of this helps.
But being half-god (especially being offspring of Poseidon), I'd say it's safe to assume he would easily survive a fall into the river, even at that height. Unless we're talking about two different books entirely, in which case.. I got nothing haha
