A simile is comparing two unlike objects with the term "Like" or "as a"
A metaphor compares two unlike objects with a common characteristic (for example, This room is as cold as ice).
Since the expression compares two unlike objects with the word "like", it is a simile.
I hope this helps!

Explain how u can use surrounding words to figure out the meaning of exhilarating
Bond [772]
You can look at the words in front and behind it, because they refer to this big word. You may find a synonym of the word or a close reference. So for example in this sentence: I was excited and ambitious to learn about cars today. So this is a easy example. You can use exited to define ambitious if you dont know what ambitious means.

"My collection of revolutionary bullets was growing. They were
mina [271]

Answer:

B. adventurous

Explanation:

The <em>tone</em> created in the paragraph is "adventurous." This is supported by the phrase<em> "collection of revolutionary bullets."</em> This means that the narrator's collection was<em> out-of-the-ordinary.</em> The phrase<em> "searched for tarantulas" </em>sounds adventurous and the narrator kept finding these bullets while she was doing her adventures. What makes it even interesting is that she can find it beyond the city. This means that her adventure goes far <u>beyond the open fields.  </u>
