Notes about South Africa and Namibia:

 • South Africa gained its independence from Great Britain in 1910
 • Namibia did not gain its independence until near the end of the 20th century. In the late 19th century, Namibia was a colony, and was called German South Africa. After the Great War (what we call World War I), the region was under a mandate government authorized by the League of Nations. South Africa (recently independent at that time) was given the mandate to administer the territory. After World War II, the United Nations sought to bring all former German colonies in Africa under UN control. Debate over authority continued between South Africa and the UN over the following decades. Ultimately, Namibia did not achieve independence on its own till 1990.

Explain the three heads of the political party in the expression a three-headed political giant
UNO [17]
The first head is the party in the electorate. This is who the supporters of your party are. They don't have to be actual members of the party, it's enough that they publicly speak that they support you and will vote for you and this is a huge amount of voters because these are the common people who don't deal with politics.

The second head is the party as an organization. This is the classic company like organization with staff, headquarters, laws and legislation, taxes, and similar things. The goal of the organization is to win the elections and they help on a state, national, and local level with things like campaigning and other important aspects of politics.

The third head is the party in government. These are party members who are members of the congress and although they may disagree with some party policies, they are in general the spokespeople for their party and represent it and its values. They are the people who vote on legislation and the budget and similar things.

Prompt: There are two questions you will be responding to. The first question is, “What is the meaning of PEACE?” The second que
Rudik [331]

Answer:

1) Peace

2) Do you believe sustained world peace is possible? Why or why not?

Explanation:

There are two valid definitions of the word peace:

Peace is a period in time without any conflicts similar to war.

Peace is the state of freedom that no one disturbs.

World peace is possible in theory.

To achieve world peace all of the nations would have to relinquish dogma, religion and political beliefs.

Those are the three main reasons why people cannot have peace.

Similar topics are discussed in many Utopian books. Something similar was the main idea of communism at the beginning. In the perfect world without any conflict, everyone would have to live by the same rules, have equal rights and the same lifestyle. Still, there is a problem with this type of life and it lies in the efforts of society and individuals. For example, a person who goes to college would not have a better financial life than the person who did not go to college, thus the individual effort to stand out would be pointless.

To conclude, world peace is possible in theory, but it is almost impossible to have it in practice.
