Answer

Mountain building caused by a Convergent plate boundary between the colliding Indian and the Eurasian plates.

Explanation:

The country of India is located on the Indian Plate and is currently colliding with the Eurasian plate which is creating the Himalayan Mountain Range along with other structural geologic formations.

Convergent Plate Boundary's are the result of two plates colliding with each other this could be oceanic-continental,  oceanic-oceanic, and continental-continental. The Indian and Eurasian plates are both continental, there is no subduction between the two plates so no volcanism is present in the area.

(On maps the Indo-Australian Plate is sometimes combined with the Indian Plate but they are widely considered separate).

Electron degeneracy is what holds up a __________ against the compressing force of gravity.
Viefleur [7K]

Answer:

white dwarf

Explanation:

White dwarf

In a white dwarf due to high temperature and pressure the electrons of atoms are compressed to a very small space and this makes it impossible to add more electrons in the space as all the energy levels are previously filled and thus the electrons exerts a pressure which acts against the compressive force of the gravity in a white dwarf .

hence , the correct option is white dwarf .

Alex swims at an average speed of 45 mi./min. how far does he swim in one minute 24 seconds
kompoz [17]

Answer: Alex Swims 63 mi in one minute 24 seconds

Explanation:

Alex swims 45 miles in 1 minute so what we need to find is the 24 seconds.

You'd take 2 divided by 5 which is the simplified fraction of 24 seconds over 60 seconds

Simplifying the fraction to a decimal gives you 0.4 then multiply it by 45 giving 18.

45+18=63 mi
