Answer:

According to John B Gordon, the states have sovereignty which could not be undermined y the Union.

Explanation:

One of the most influential commanders of Confederate General Robert E. Lee, General John B. Gordon's writings during the Civil War gave an impression of his perspective on the rights of the States and the Union. In his memoirs, he views that States were active participants in the creation of the Union. He goes on to state that States had acquired their independence and sovereignty from the mother country and had not lost them upon admission into the Union. And thus questioned the North to find in that Constitution one sign of legitimacy for invasion and coercion of a sovereign state.

According to Rousseau, an agreement between citizens and the government in which citizens empower the government to make laws as
sleet_krkn [62]

Answer: Social contract; A belief that God does not intervene with the laws of the universe

Explanation: A social contract is the Enlightenment idea of an unofficial treaty or agreement between people and the government that exists in democratic societies in some forms today. As one of the Enlightenment philosophers, Rousseau suggested that all people with equal natural and human rights, with whom all were born equal, submit to the protection of these rights to the government and authorise it to be the guarantor of the preservation of those rights.

Deism is the doctrine by which God created the universe and everything in it, the planets, among others the Earth, humans, and then withdrew. He left it to humans, that is, the creation, to govern what was created according to the laws of the nature. From this it can be seen that Deism is one of the starting points of the Enlightenment, because many of the Enlightenment philosophers believed in God but not according to Church teaching, but precisely to the idea that after creation of the world God had withdrawn and left it to people. For this reason, Deism rejects supernatural religious phenomena as is the case with Church teaching, such as Revelation, and advocates ethical behaviour and engagement in the advancement of society, the state, and community.

How did using interchangeable parts change the makeup of the labor force in the early 1800s?
kotykmax [81]
The creation of interchangeable parts greatly changes the labor force during the 1800's. Interchangeable parts allows for a standard size of goods (clothes, furniture, etc.). Due to this change, the workforce transformed from a demand for skilled workers to unskilled workers. With interchangeable parts, there was no longer a need for individuals to make everything from hand. Instead, businesses were able to mass produce products with the help of unskilled workers. These workers were usually taught a specific, repeatable task. As long as the unskilled worker was able to learn this task, they would be able to keep their job. This revolutionizes the workforce for over 100 years, as the addition of the assembly line along with interchangeable parts results in the creation of products at a rate never seen before in world history.
