Macbeth loses that power several times during the narrative. This power is lost to his wife, Lady Macbeth, who manages to influence her husband to do all the acts she judges to be right, leading him to even ignore his own thoughts.

In short, we can say that Macbeth's power is established by her masculinity, while Lady Macbeth's power is established by her wit.
