Answer: In an ecosystem, a population is a group of animals that live in the same area and are the same species. For example, a herd of zebras would be a population, but a horse would not be considered apart of the population because it is a different species than the zebra. (a species are animals that can mate and produce offspring that can also mate).

Is controlling homeostasis a conscious or unconscious process?
kirill115 [55]

Answer:

It is an unconcious process

Explanation:

Homeostasis is when the body is made sure to have a constant environment inside so that the body can work at it's optimum conditions .... constant temperature, constant pH etc ... you do sweat when you feel hot but you can't control it... your mind just tells it to... vadodilation and vasoconstriction for a constant temperature occurs for a constant temperature as well(when vessels dilate and constrict), your mind allows the vessels to do so without you thinking about it.

Click and drag each label to the accurately identify the components of the visceral baroreflex
QveST [7]

The right answers are on the attached image.

Baroreflex is a reflex triggered when a baroreceptor is stimulated. In the human body, baroreceptors are found in the carotid sinuses and the sinus of the aorta. These receptors are stimulated during changes in blood pressure. Baroreceptors are sensitive to the stretching of blood vessels.

As blood pressure rises, baroreceptors transmit nerve impulses to the vasomotor center of the medulla oblongata, which is then inhibited. This results in vasodilatation of the blood vessels to reduce blood pressure.
