What is the effect on the graph of f(2) g(2) =} - 1? 1 when it is transformed to g(x)=1/x -7
777dan777 [17]

The effect on the graph of f(x)= 1/x when it is transformed to g(x)= 1/x-7 is C. The graph of f(x) is shifted 7 units down.

What is a graph?

A graph is a diagram showing the relation between variable quantities, each measured along with one of a pair of axes at right angles.

In this case, the effect on the graph of f(x)= 1/x when it is transformed to g(x)= 1/x-7 is that the graph of f(x) is shifted 7 units down.

The missing options include:

A. The graph of f(x) is shifted 7 units up

B. The graph of f(x) is shifted 7 units to the left

C. The graph of f(x) is shifted 7 units down

D. The graph of f(x) is shifted 7 units to the right.

Hello there ^ _ ^

I would like you to do me a favor and help me with this question. Thanks!
Marrrta [24]
As it is just 6 equilateral triangles and the formula for area of a triangle
1/2 * base * height
and you can find the height by using pythagoras c^2 - b^2 = a^2
so do 4^2 - 2^2 = 16 - 4 = 12
6 * 1/2 * 4 * \sqrt{12} = 12 \sqrt{12} = 24 \sqrt{3}

Complete the square to form a true equation.

x^2 - 4x + ? = (x - ?)^2
GrogVix [38]
If you would like to complete the square to form a true equation, you can do this using the following steps:

x^2 - 4 * x + ? = (x - ?)^2
x^2 - 4 * x + 4 = (x - 2)^2

The correct result is x^2 - 4 * x + 4 = (x - 2)^2.
