Is Cinco de Mayo more popular in the US than Mexico? Why do you think that is

No it is a larger celebration in Mexico and in the US we have many other holidays that makes this one “go under the radar”

It is a tradition in mexico so it will obviously be more celebrated and more popular in mexico but americans don’t celebrate it they just know about the holiday which is what makes it popular
