Many challenges and issues arose after countries gained independence from their former colonizers such as having a healthy economy, ensuring the national independence was permanent and creating a stable political system suitable for the rule of law.

The biggest issue was having a health economy because the duty of a country is providing for a good environment and catering for the well being of the citizens.

The components of the eightfold path of Buddhism are divided among the three forms of training as follows; correct action, correct speech, correct livelihood, are part of the training in ethics; correct effort, correct mindfulness, and correct concentration are included in the training in concentration; and correct view.

2.) They are advised to abstain from using foul language, lying, slandering, gossiping and backbiting to promote right speech.

3.) The three jewels of Buddhism are Buddha, the fully Enlightened one. The Dharma, the teachings expounded by the Buddha. The Sangha, the monastic order of Buddhism that practice Dharma.

4.) The two primary divisions in Buddhism are the Theravada Buddhism and the Mahayana Buddhism.

5.) In Buddhism and Christianity, both worship only one god. But in Buddhism, there aren’t really any supernatural elements.

6.) The religion’s founder was Buddha, and is considered to be an extraordinary man but not a god. The word Buddha means ‘enlightened’ Buddha’s sole purpose was to spread the religion and enlighten everybody by having them utilize morality, meditate, and gain wisdom.

7.) Thailand is predominantly Buddhist. The country has been influenced by the religion over hundreds of years. Since it arrived, it has enriched the lives of the natives. They were given the nickname “The land of yellow robes” for the amount of Buddhist monks. For the most part, Buddhism made lives of the Thais more purposeful and caused more variances in their art and style of expression.

8.) It’s hard to get a solid estimate of Buddhist followers because some of the countries they reside in are considered atheist, so the numbers are rarely reported. Also, it can be difficult to distinguish between real practicing Buddhists from people who are merely just incorporating Buddhists ideas into their life.

9.) It’s compatible with other religions because it lacks strict rules. It’s doesn’t really have rituals or tradition as well as no real chain of authority. Buddhism also doesn’t clash with other religions because it’s not a pure religion, it can also pass as a philosophy which makes it more possible to have coinciding beliefs.
