The best answer is that concertos (which are large bodies of compositional work) were written for professional musicians who commissioned them. So the answer is A. Concerto's are large pieces of work often involving a solo instrument and full orchestra backup.

Answer:

The answer is option A.

Explanation:

A concerto is a classical musical composition that highlights a solo instrument against a full orchestra background. Bach is a composer known for writing concertos. A piano, violin, flute or other instrument plays solo parts in a concerto that are supported or highlighted by an orchestra.

A conclusion should: _____. restate the thesis summarize the main points repeat the introduction word-for-word be imaginative
nata0808 [166]
Can you choose more than one option?

Because a conclusion should not repeat word-for-word the introducion (this would make it actually pretty redundant), but other than this, it should be all of the remaining! (but if i had to choose one, I'd go with "summarize the main points- this would be most effective and most relevant./)

So my answer is: it should restate the thesis AND summarize the main points AND  be imaginative but it should NOT repeat the introduction word-for-word.

Which statement about portraits by Judith Leyster, Rembrandt, and Pablo Picasso is true?
Juliette [100K]

Answer:

Leyster used tenebrism for added drama.

Picasso showed a single figure from multiple views for added drama.

Explanation:

  • Cubism is preoccupied with the problem of the "object" that needs to be reconstructed, as opposed to the vagueness and impermanence of the Impressionist surface.
  • Everything that relies on subjectivity or a particular and firm view must be eliminated in order to arrive at an overall, conceptual, complete variant of form ("If the senses deform, only the spirit forms").
  • Picasso's statement: "I paint objects as I imagine them, not how I see them," supports this thesis.  In Cubism, the influence of African art is also present, and the basis is the cube.  The Cubists in the picture show simultaneously (at the same time) what we can really only see in succession (in the sequence of time, consecutively).
  • Dutch Golden Age painter Judith Leyster often depicts middle-class Dutch people in work and in leisure in her paintings.
