Answer:

A line in form of y = ax + b passes (0, 2)

=> 2 = 0x + b => b = 2

This line also passes (4, 6)

=> 6 = 4x + 2 => x = 1

=> Equation of this line: y = x + 2

=> Option C is correct

The first piece is 2x ft long
The third piece is x+4 ft long
All of the pieces should add up to 10ft
