Answer: The Government Institution they are referring to is the Government Defense Institution/ Millitary which is aimed to protect its citizens.

Explanation:In 1942, Franklin Roosevelt signed Executive Order 9066 which made the US military to make part of the United States a military zone which prompted a compulsory exclusion of large groups of people from their homes which were mainly the Japanese-Americans who were taken from their homes and placed in internment camps during World War II.

Frank Korematsu, a Japanese- American defied the order to be relocated and be reported in the camp which led to his arrest and conviction. The Supreme Court ruled against him on the basis that the internment of Japanese- Americans during wartime was constitutional.

Explain how the chesapeake and north carolina colonies grew prosperous exporting tobacco.
Hatshy [7]

In divergence to the northern and middle colonies, the southern and Chesapeake colonies, as well as Maryland, were mainly rural settlements. Maryland quickly prospered because, like its neighbor, Virginia, its economy was based on tobacco. The Chesapeake and North Carolina colonies were the example for large plantations and plantation-based economies. By growing a soon-to-be cash crop, these colonies required a lot of attention and hands-on labor that was supplied by enslaved Africans. These colonies helped expand Colonial America's export economy and other nations' dependence on similar crops and/or products grown here.

The correct answer is that The United States was fighting against an enemy who discriminated by race while allowing discrimination at home

They believed that the United States was using african-american soldiers and fighting discrimination and for equality in other countries worldwide, while at the same time they were segregating and violating the rights of their own people which meant that they were extremely hypocritical and had to first look into their own back yard.
