Answer:

$23.85 per hours

Explanation:

The labor wage per hour can be calculate by simply dividing minimum monthly income by the least number of total hours that a labor must work. The resultant amount will be hourly wage of an employee.

Mathematically,

Hourly Wage = Minimum Monthly Income  /  Total Hours Worked

Here

Minimum Monthly Income is $4,089

Total Hours Worked = 40 Hrs per week * 30 days / 7 days

Total Hours Worked = 171.43 Hours

By putting the values, we have:

Hourly Wage = $4,089 / 171.43 Hrs   = $23.85 per hours

"XYZ Corporation announces a 10% stock dividend, followed by a 5% "spin off" of a subsidiary business. A customer who owns 200 s
Deffense [45]

Answer:

20 shares of XYZ and 11 shares of the spin-off

Explanation:

The 20 shares of XYS comes from

= 200 shares × 10%

So, the total number of shares now is

= 200 shares + 20 shares

And there is 5% spin off

So, the number of shares contains spin off is

= 220 shares × 5%

This represents the separate company

hence, there is 20 shares of XYZ and 11 shares of the spin-off

Suppose that the technology used to manufacture laptops has improved. The likely result would be: Select one: a. an increase in
Elodia [21]

Answer: The correct option is B. an increase in quantity supplied of laptops.

Explanation: Supply is the amount of goods and services that a given firm is willing and able to sell to the market, at a given price and at a given point in time.

Factors that affect supply include:

- Price

- Cost of Production

- Technology

- Transport Conditions

- Government's Policies

- Prices of Related Goods, and so on.

In the scenario given in the question above, if an improved technology is being used to manufacture laptops, this will cause production costs to decrease, and cause output level to increase, thereby leading to a lower price of the laptops.

At this price, consumers will demand more of the laptops, and an increase in demand will definitely lead to an increase in the quantity of laptops that will be supplied to the market.
