Answer:

Controlled fires can be used to stop other wildfires that are not under control.

Explanation:

First of all, this is a very ancient technique that early civilizations used to stop fires. It allows the grass or the vegetation to burn before the ire reaches that spot and stops its expansion. This is a very good way to stop wildfires in extensive areas. The way I could learn it is by asking someone who already knows it. I have learned that fires can be good for vegetation.

Answer:

Controlled fires that are well-planned can bring many benefits to the environment.

Explanation:

This is an argument that can be used to support the idea of using controlled fires to protect wild areas.

In general, we tend to associate wildfires with destruction. However, fires are very damaging when they are unplanned, but can be beneficial when these are well-thought out. One of the main benefits of these fires is that they can help control an out-of-control fire. This occurs by taking away possible sources of fire, and thus stopping the destructive wildfire.

Intentional fires can also help revitalize a natural environment. This occurs when vegetation that is inhospitable or aggressive is burned in order to make room for healthier and younger vegetation.
