Yes , because some people all they want to do is eat.so I believe that it is a addiction like a drug that every one has 3 times a day but like any drug some people get addicted.

Yes because food addiction is like an addictive drugs, highly palatable foods trigger feel-good brain chemicals such as dopamine. Once people experienced pleasure associated with increase dopamine transmission in the brain's reward pathway from eating certain foods, they quickly feel the need to eat again.
