Answer: $6.50

Step-by-step explanation: Well we know that all the burrito bowls are for the same price. We also know that he spent $12.96 for corn tacos and had to pay a total of $32.46. So first we subtract 32.46 - 12.96 to find out how much he paid for the burritos alone. 32.46 - 12.96= 19.50 which means he spent $19.50 for all of the burritos. And since each burrito cost the same amount and there are 3 burritos, you have to divide $19.50 by 3 which gives you $6.50.

Points P and Q belong to segment AB . If AB = a, AP = 2PQ = 2QB, find the distance: midpoints between AP QB
Digiron [165]

Answer: The distace between midpoints of AP and QB is \frac{a}{8}.

Step-by-step explanation: Points P and Q are between points A and B and the segment AB measures a, then:

AP + PQ + QB = a

According to the question, AP = 2 PQ = 2QB, so:

PQ = \frac{AP}{2}

QB = \frac{AP}{2}

Substituing:

AP + 2*(\frac{AP}{2}) = a

2AP = a

AP = \frac{a}{2}

Since the distance is between midpoints of AP and QB:

2QB = AP

QB = \frac{AP}{2}

QB = \frac{a}{2}*\frac{1}{2}

QB = \frac{a}{4}

MIdpoint is the point that divides the segment in half, so:

<u>Midpoint of AP</u>:

\frac{AP}{2} = \frac{a}{2}*\frac{1}{2}

\frac{AP}{2} = \frac{a}{4}

<u>Midpoint of QB</u>:

\frac{QB}{2} = \frac{a}{4}*\frac{1}{2}

\frac{QB}{2} = \frac{a}{8}

The distance is:

d = \frac{a}{4} - \frac{a}{8}

d = \frac{a}{8}

Solve x + 9 = 18 - 2x
bezimeni [28]
Add 2x to both sides,
3x+9=18
Subtract 9 from both sides. 3x=9
Divide both sides by 3.
x=3

What is the value of x in the equation 13 x minus 2 (8 + 5 x) = 12 minus 11 x?
AnnZ [28]

The value of n in given proportion is 16

<u><em>Solution:</em></u>

We have to find the value of "n" in the proportion

<em><u>Given proportion is:</u></em>

<em><u></u></em>\frac{n}{28} = \frac{4}{7}<em><u></u></em>

We can solve the above proportion by cross-multiplying

Multiply the numerator of the left-hand fraction by the denominator of the right-hand fraction

Multiply the numerator of the right-hand fraction by the denominator of the left-hand fraction

Set the two products equal to each other

Solve for the variable

->\frac{n}{28} = \frac{4}{7}

-> 7 *  n = 4 * 28

-> n = \frac{4 * 28}{7}

-> n = 4 * 4 = 16

Thus the value of n in given proportion is 16

How much candy corn is in this jar?! How can I tell! Please help
Alisiya [41]

Honestly, I don't think there is a certain method or anything to find how much candy corn there is in that jar. Try counting and rounding or just take a solid guess ! You'll maybe be closer to the answer by taking a solid guess ! Good luck :)
