How many times larger is the volume of a cone if the radius is multiplied by 6?

Mathematics
1 answer:
yan [13]3 years ago
6 0

Answer:

36 times larger.

Step-by-step explanation:

V= \pi *r^{2}*\frac{h}{3} is the original volume of a cone formula.

If the radius is multiplied by 6 the new formula is:

V= \pi *(6x)^{2} * \frac{4}{3}

Which is simplified to:

V= \pi *36r^2*\frac{h}{3}

The only difference between the simplified formula and the original is the *36 so the new volume is 36 times larger when the radius is multiplied by 6.

A website sells used comic books.The table shows how the price of Painted Tiger,Volume 1, has changed over the last 4 months.If
n200080 [17]

Answer:

$7.69

Step-by-step explanation:

See the attached table.

The table shows how the price of Painted Tiger, Volume 1, has changed over the last 4 months.

If the price started at $7.37, then the current price will be

$(7.37 + 0.50 - 0.38 + 0.32 - 0.12) = $7.69

The price in the first month, increased by $0.50 and in the second month, it is reduced by $0.38 and then in the third month, it is increased by $0.32 and finally, in the fourth month, the price is reduced by $0.12. (Answer)

Need help on this lowkey
Alik [6]
Problem 42 is 4 because 2(3+4)= 14 So 2x3 is 6. (14-6=8) so them 2x4 is 8.

Problem 43 is 6 because 5(6+3)= 45 So 5x3 is 15 (45-15=30) and 5x6=30

In problem 44 7x4=28 and 4x5=20 so you do 28+20 to get 48. (48 divided by 4 is 12) So 12-7 is 5. 5 is the answer

Problem 45: 6x4=24 and 6x3=18. 24+18=42. (42 divided by 6 is 7) so the last one could be anything added together to make 7.
Ex: 6+1 5+2 4+3

What number is 1/10 as great as 7962
Sliva [168]
A number 1/10 as great as 7962 would be 796.2

   You get this answer by either dividing 7,962 with 10 which gives you 769.2

   Or you can multiply 7,962 with 1/10 to get 7,962/10. If you simplify then you get 796 1/5 or 796.2.
