Explanation:
The process of photosynthesis
Plants need food to respire, grow and reproduce. Unlike animals, plants are able to make their own food by the process of photosynthesis.
Photosynthesis takes place in the part of the plant cell containing chloroplasts, these are small structures that contain chlorophyll.
For photosynthesis to take place, plants need to take in carbon dioxide (from the air), water (from the ground) and light (usually from the sun).
Organisms that formed index fossils are distinctive, widespread, abundant, and limited in geologic time. Because most fossil-bearing rocks formed in the ocean, the major index fossils are marine organisms.Apr 30, 2020
South America is a continent that has a variety of climates, but the predominant one is the tropical climate.
The tropical climates are climates that appear on and in close proximity tot he Equator, and they are not monotone, but instead differ from one another. From the tropical climates that dominate the South American continent, the most widespread are the tropical rainforest and the tropical grasslands, which account for most of the tropical climates, with the tropical semiarid and tropical arid climates occupying much smaller areas on the continent, mostly alongside the Pacific coastline.
The Amazon rainforest is the trademark of South America, and it is the biggest tropical rainforest in the world, occupying huge portion of the northern half of the continent, with the tropical grasslands occupying large ares both north and south of the Amazon.
The first consequence that the partition of India had was the relocation of between 14-16 million people. Hindu and Sikhs who lived in the area that is now Pakistan moved to the territory of India, while Muslims in Indian territory followed the opposite route. This had an impact not only on the lives of the migrants, but also on the culture of the new nations.
Another effect was that the population of Pakistan was extremely homogeneous in terms of religious identity. Less than 2% of its population was not Muslim by 1951. In turn, this complicated the political situation of Muslims in India.
Finally, a consequence of the partition is the fact that there are still disputed territories between the two nations. One of this is the region of Kashmir, which interests both nations mainly because of its economic significance.
