The Kaaba is an important religious structure in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. This structure is important in Islam because it is considered to be the first place for worship. Indeed, it is believed the structure was built around the year 2000 BCE, and since then, it was used by tribes, and people in the region to worship their gods. This occurred before the establishment of Islam, and the teachings of Muhammad (around 600 CE) because with these it was established there was only one God (Allah), and therefore the Kaaba should be used by Muslims to worship this god. Also, Muslims should go to the Kaaba at least one time in their lives.
