This is an example of kohlberg's individualism, instrumental purpose, and exchange stage of moral development.

These kids are in the preconventional level, where their sense of morality is externally controlled. They accept and believe the rules of authority figures, such as parents and teachers. A child with pre-conventional morality has not yet adopted or internalized society’s conventions regarding what is right or wrong, but instead focuses largely on external consequences that certain actions may bring. In this particular example they are in the Stage 2: Instrumental Orientation. The reasoning shows a limited interest in the needs of others, only to the point where it might further the individual’s own interests. As a result, concern for others is not based on loyalty or intrinsic respect, but rather a “you scratch my back, and I’ll scratch yours” mentality.

Ivenika [448]
The correct answer would be C. Joe is using the long term memory. This type of memory is maintained or can be hold for a very long period of time. It is any memory that you remember that happened earlier or a few minutes ago. Short term is known to last only for about 18 to 30 seconds only so it should be the long term memory that is working.

Why did white collar workers have more time off than blue-collar workers?
Dovator [93]

Answer:

B. They could stop working when the boss went home.

Explanation:

The white-collar workforce may operate from behind a desk, while the working class person of blue-collar gets his hands dirty doing manual work or working in a manufacturing unit. White-collar jobs referred mostly to office jobs, so typically they end at a fixed time, on the other hand, blue-collar jobs are service-oriented which can be performed whenever needed, so they're not as flexible. Therefore, as most offices have fixed times, white-collar workforce could stop work when their bosses stop.
