The left and right sides would be the same length.

Set the two sides equal and solve for y:

10 = 2y +4

Subtract 4 from both sides:

Do a proportion. so basically do 4 over 8 equals x over 100. then do 4 times 100 divided by 8 and that will give you ur answer. hope that helped!
