Answer:

A) Water is a combination of other matter that are listed on the periodic table

Explanation:

The chemical formula for water is : H2O

This is because water is a compound that is composed of hydrogen and oxygen; both of which are located in the periodic table.

A compound is a substance with two or more elements chemically joined together. This would mean that water is not an element as it is composed of two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom.

An Element is a substance that contains only one type of atom.

What is the approximate hydronium ion concentration and hydroxide ion concentration in a cup of tea?
Natasha2012 [34]

The hydronium ion is an oxonium ion whose chemical formula is H3O + or H + (aq). It is found in the solid, gaseous or liquid state (protonation of a molecule of water).

The concentration of hydronium ion is directly linked to the pH of the tea (or any solution) by this equation.:

C° (hydronium) = 10^(-pH)

if the pH of the tea is 6 for example, than:

C° (hydronium) = 10^(-pH) = 10^(-6).

Diffusion is an important process in animals and plants.
Paraphin [41]

Answer:

Diffusion helps animals in respiration. The cells in an animal's body need glucose and oxygen for respiration. Both these are carried in the blood. When blood reaches the cells the molecules of glucose and oxygen diffuse out of the blood and into the cells. As cells use up the glucose and oxygen they produce waste chemicals and carbon dioxide.

Diffusion is a very important process for photosynthesis where carbon dioxide from the stomata diffuses into the leaves and finally into the cells. This helps the plants to photosynthesize and produce more food.

Example for animals: Animals using glucose and oxygen in diffusion.

Examples for plants: Plants using carbon dioxide to photosynthesize.
