ycow [4]

Generalizing refers to the act of making broad conclusions from the abstraction of an observation of a particular type or smaller conclusions.

  • Generalization is called a process by which a conclusion of a universal nature is established from a particular observation or observations.

  • It is generally unfounded by the fact that a type of logical step between the particular and the universal or the general is unfeasible, which is why its uses are limited from a scientific point of view.

Therefore, we can conclude that generalization is an essential element of the scientific process by which a broad conclusion is made that can be drawn from something particular.

Was it fair or disrespectful to turn Native into Christianity? Would the Natives lose their beliefs?
iogann1982 [59]

Answer:

I believe it was unfair to turn Natives in to Christians. A big part of the reason the Pilgrims came to the New World was for religious freedoms, right? It seems very wrong to force a different culture into believing something different and then shaming them (or worse) for not accepting the new religion.

I think that the younger Natives, after having been separated from their families and their culture, would definately lose their original spiritual beliefs since nobody was teaching them about it.
