For this case we have the following relationship:
 P1V1 = P2V2
 Clearing volume 2 we have:
 V2 = (P1 / P2) * (V1)
 Substituting values we have:
 V2 = (5.1 / 1.0) * (350)
 V2 = 1785 mL
 Answer:

this gas would occupy 1785 mL at 1.0atm

Answer:

1785 mL

Step-by-step explanation:

V1 = 350mL P1 = 5.1 atm

V2 = ?          P2 = 1.0atm

Using Boyle's law which states that the pressure of a gas at constant temperature is inversely proportional to the volume of the gas.

P = K/V where K is the constant of proportionality

P1V1 = P2V2

350 × 5.1 = V2 × 1

V2 = 1785 mL

Z=5x- 11y <br> can someone please help
Feliz [49]

Answer:

z+11y/5 = x

Step-by-step explanation:

Since you are solving for x, you want to isolate the variable. You do that by adding 11y to both sides, which cancels out the -11y. From that you should have z+11y = 5x. To cancel out the 5x you need to divide both sides by 5 to get z+11y/5 = x. Hope this helps :)

If you're driving at a rate of 55 mph about how many feet per second are you traveling
Veronika [31]
55 miles is 290400 feet so you are driving at 290400 feet per hour now there are 60 minutes In an hours so divide
290400/60=4840
4840 feet per minute
there are 60 seconds in a minute so divide again
4840/60=80.67
