Plagiarism is wrong and can land you in jail if you write a novel. Your professor is correct. And blackmail is not the answer.

n an effort to relive the good old days of youth, my friend Tim decided to throw himself a 1980s-themed party at a roller skating rink. All my college friends were going, and we decided to dress for the theme, complete with headbands, leg warmers, blue eyeshadow, and teased hair.
