Which elements in this story do you think would appeal to children? Check any that apply.
chubhunter [2.5K]

The elements in this story that would appeal to children are:

 • Humor and
 • Animan characters
 • The moral or lesson

What elements of the story will appeal to children?

The element of the story that will most appeal to children is the part that contains funny descriptions and stories about animals. Children are often attracted to things that will make them happy. It is not unusual to see children who love cartoons with funny plots and animal characters. Such descriptions make them very happy.

Any story that has these two core elements will record great positive interest from children. It is funny to see that the loiterer blames the dog whereas he is the person at fault.

Also, children love stories that they can draw lessons from. The lesson in this story is that we should not always blame others for problems that might be caused by us. The story about the Traveler and the Dog has all three of these features. So, children will find it appealing.

Complete Question:

Which elements in this story do you think would appeal to children? Check any that apply.

A Traveler about to set out on a journey saw his Dog stand at the door stretching himself. He asked [the dog] sharply: "Why do you stand there gaping? Everything is ready but you, so come with me instantly." The Dog, wagging his tail, replied: "O, master! I am quite ready; it is you for whom I am waiting." The loiterer often blames delay on his more active friend.
