Shay's Rebellion

Explanation:

The Articles of Confederation was the first constitution for the United States. It is known for being very weak and giving little to no power to the national government. With the Articles of Confederation, the government could not regulate trade, draft soldiers, create and enforce laws properly, tax citizens, and other important matters.

Since the national government was so powerless, most of the power was in the hands of the people and the states. This meant that it was hard to keep people in check, which eventually caused Shay's Rebellion.

Shay's Rebellion was an uprise of farmers who did not want to lose their property and opposed high taxing. Courts were trying to take away their property, as many poor farmers could not pay their taxes. This caused many farmers to revolt, causing a few casualties. This proved the national government was too weak under the Articles of Confederation, as they could do nothing to stop this.

many Americans perceived "Manifest Destiny" as benevolent, but why was it really an aggressive imperialistic move pursued at the
adell [148]
Manifest destiny was a concept that was devoid of any consideration for the lives, land and property of the people against which it was targeted. With time it came to acquire a most imperialistic bearing by embracing the proud and selfish reasoning that because America had been made great by its Anglo - Saxon heritage, this made America supremely fit and suited to extend its influence beyond its continental boundaries, that now it was the nation's manifest destiny to achieve this. Nowhere are the interests of other people mentioned.

Aztecs believed Cortes was god so they
Tresset [83]

Answer: A belief imbued with the Aztec tradition.

Explanation:

In the "Flower Wars", the Aztecs decimated neighboring tribes, bringing their inhabitants to temples and sacrificing them to their gods. Arriving in the capital of Aztec in 1519, Cortes and his were horrified by the bloody scenes they saw. The unbearable stench of blood spread through the city. It was the tribes who used the Aztecs for their ritual ventures to become allies and spies of the Spanish.

The defeat of the last ruler of Aztec Moktezum II facilitated the traditional belief of Aztec in the return of the god Kuetzalkoatal, which prompted the Aztecs to identify the creed with the arrival of Cortes and see him as their deity. By 1521, Cortes had liquidated his native land and eliminated the possibility of any further rebellion and resistance.
