The civil war in vietnam caused the united states to rethink which foreign policy strategy?.
Oksi-84 [34.3K]

The civil war in Vietnam induced the united states to rethink Containment foreign policy strategy.

What is civil war in Vietnam?

The American Civil War existed as a civil war in the United States between the United States and the Confederacy. The central cause of the war was the level of slavery, especially the development of slavery in territories achieved as a result of the Louisiana Purchase and the Mexican–American War. The Vietnam War was represented as a civil war within South Vietnam, although it evolved into a proxy war between Cold War powers. As a consequence, the Vietnamese sorrowed the highest casualties in the conflict.

Containment existed as a foreign policy strategy observed by the United States during the Cold War. First laid out by George F. Kennan in 1947, the policy expressed that communism needed to be contained and isolated, or else it would extend to neighboring countries. The Truman Doctrine also understood as the policy of containment existed in President Harry Truman's foreign policy that the US would furnish political, military, and economic aid to democratic countries under the hazard of communist influences to control the expansion of communism.

Evaluate the extent to which states in the Middle East and East Asia utilized similar methods to develop and expand from 1450 to
Troyanec [42]

Rulers of land-based empires in the Middle East and East Asia used bureaucratic elites and military professions to create centralized control over populations and resources.

Describe the imperial expansion from 1450 to 1750.

Increased use of gunpowder, cannons and armed trade led to the establishment of vast empires in Europe and Asia. Most of the subjugated tribes were unorganized or weak. The Manchu in Central East Asia, the Mughal in South and Central Asia, the Ottoman in Southern Europe, and the Middle East, and North Africa were some of these land-based empires.

Politics, religion, and the armed forces were all under the control of the same people. They also had control over trade, which allowed the monarchs to build more powerful armies and cultural landmarks. Religion, art, and architecture were all used by rulers to justify their dominion. To raise money for state power and imperial expansion, they used new tax collection methods and mechanisms for collecting tribute.

Ano Ang temang nais ipahiwalig ng awaiting dapat tama?
Vsevolod [243]
