I can help you with the equation since that's not the full equation:

-2y = -x + 10

so you divide the -2 and then also divide it on the other side

-2y = -x + 10

-2         -2

cross out the -2's on the left side but do not cross out the y since you will need that. Then divide the numbers so:

 -1 % -2 is 0.5 but we don't use decimals in our equation so just put

-1/-2x

then do 10 % -2 and you should get -5

so put the equation together:

y = -1/-2x - 5
