Answer:

When I went to get groceries to you soon, Texas, a white lady bumped into me and blamed it on me. People immediately backed her up due to the color of my skin and I had to pay for the damaged goods. I told them that she was wrong yet they did not believe a Mexican girl.

A new boy came to my school, and he was the only boy that had blonde hair and blue eyes. People immediately thought he was rich, and very smart. All the boys started hating him because all the girls wanted him, and started bullying him. After getting to know him he was actually a very humble guy, And nothing like the rumors spreading about him.

How did losing the senate race in 1858 help lincoln most?
marin [14]

Answer:

Lincoln said:

"I am glad I made the late race. It gave me a hearing on the great and durable questions of the age, which I could have had in no other way; and though I now sink out of view, and shall be forgotten, I believe I have made some marks which will tell for the cause of civil liberty long after I am gone."

What specific information do you find when looking up a word in a basic dictionary?
ruslelena [56]

When you look up a word in a basic dictionary, there is quite a bit of information you’ll find. Of course, you’ll find the definition of the word. If the word, however, has more than one meaning, all meanings will be presented in the entry. The word will be spaced out into syllables. You’ll see the phonetic pronunciation of the word. For instance, if you look up the word, “happy,” you’ll see “hap-ee.” In addition, some dictionaries will also present a word’s language origin (such as Latin or French) as well as the part of speech such as whether the word is a noun, verb, adjective, etc.

Identify the complete adjective clause. Is he the man you saw at the coffee shop?
Tamiku [17]
The adjective clause is similar to the simple adjective in that that it describes, or refers to, or modifies the noun which precedes it. Having that in mind, the adjective clause in this sentence is 'you saw at the coffee shop', because it modifies the noun 'the man'.
