I believe that the idea which is addressed in the passage above is friendship and love.
You can see that there is a strong friendship between Lancelot and Arthur, even though Lancelot is seeing his wife behind his back. On the other hand, we can see the theme of love between Lancelot and Guinevere, even though Arthur is not aware of that.
They pack and unpack easily, knowing that soon they are going to have to do it yet again (as soon as the harvest is over). The readers learn that the family is used to this way of life, moving around according to the crop to be harvested, since it is the only way that the father knows to work and supply for his family.
1. Cort and his dad go fishing and come home from bottle creek
2. Cort goes to Liza's house and a hurricane like storm starts to come.
3. Cort and Lizas parents are away and they have to go look for them.
4. They get lost in the woods but manage to reunite with Cort's dad then later Liza's mom
5. They go back to their normal lives after the storm
(sorry but I only got 5)
Paragraph 2 is the only one, from what i can tell, that describes any type of relationship with the dad.
