No,
To factor it out we need to put the integers and the variables together.
The variables are 12x and 2x which would equal 14x. Then we have 24 and 2 which would be 26.

This leaves us with 14x-26

Find the distance between each pair of parallel line<br>y=x-6 and y=x+8
myrzilka [38]
Both these lines are linear and have the same slope, just different y-intercepts. This means one line is shifted higher than the other. y=x+8 is 14 units higher than y=x-6. The answer to you question therefore is 14 units!

How will adding the value 75 affect the mean and median of the data set 1, 5, 7, 9 , 9, 10?
kenny6666 [7]
Prior to adding 75, the original data has a mean of 41/6 =6.833 & a median of 8

After adding the 75, the mean becomes 116/7 = 16.571 & the median = 9

So the median increased slightly (from 8 to 9) & the mean increased more quickly (from 6.833 to 16.571)

So it's C :The median increases less than the mean increases.
