Solnce55 [7]

This quote focuses on the idea that sometimes, no matter how hard people try, they cannot achieve their goals or deepest desires. They reach out further and further for one thing or someone and never get to it. Some never lose hope and "stretch out their arms farther", but that doesn't mean they'll get there. They have more optimism. These final words are just about Gatsby's struggle to achieve the American dream and his dream girl and the unfortunate events that follow his endeavors.

If you use my analysis, don't copy word for word ! :)

Well I see it as an A for effort. But in in all fairness if you lost the game you shouldn't really be a sore loser because of it. In football games the people keeping score don't give the points the other team that lost because "they tried". I was on the cheerleading team and the other girls won nationals but I thought it was unfair because we all really tried our hardest and the thought we should get extra points. But I know that's totally ridiculous now.

BARSIC [14]

Answer:

She has been ordered to act as a detective, uncovering Confederate spies operating in Union territory.

Explanation:

Emma Edmonds was a Union Spy during th war. She changed her name later from Sarah Emma Edmonson to Franklin Thompson, and began selling the bible under the same name. After this, she joined the Union Army and served as a spy, nurse, mail carrier, soldier, etc.

In 1862, she was transferred to Kentucky on an assignment to spy Confederate spies working in Union. For this mission, she disguised herself as a young Southern gentleman seeking employment. She changed her name, for this assignment, to Charles Mayberry.

So, from the given options, the correct one is the third option. She posed as a visitor seeking for job because she was assigned to spy and uncover Confederate spies working in Union.
