Entering a lesson late can cause some disruption issues, for example, the teacher usually has to tell the latecomer to sit down, and re-explain the work. Perhaps, the teacher may ask somebody else to explain it, which can disrupt their learning too. This can therefore make it worse for the child explaining, or the other children (if the teacher explains the work) as the teacher can’t be in two places at one. In conclusion, students should turn up to lesson on time or early.

This question is about the article "Native American Cultures"

Answer:

a Native American culture area

Explanation:

The article talks about the existence of many native peoples in the American continent, before the arrival of the Europeans. The introduction of the article, gives a brief explanation of how these peoples arrived in America and spread across the continent. After the introduction, the article is divided into 10 sections that briefly describe the regions where these peoples have stabilized in North America, precisely in the USA. In summary, we can say that each section describes an area of Native American culture.

Answer: 1. When two or more compounds mix, they form a mixture. And water is a mix of hydrogen and oxygen bonded together through chemical bonds. ... It has 2 atoms of hydrogen covalently bonded to one atom of oxygen. This means it cannot be separated by physical means, unlike a mixture.

2. To summarize, evaporation is slower, occurs only from the surface of the liquid, does not produce bubbles, and leads to cooling. Boiling is faster, can occur throughout the liquid, produces lots of bubbles, and does not result in cooling. Evaporation is a normal process that occurs when the liquid form changes into the gaseous form; while causing an increase in the pressure or temperature. Boiling is an unnatural process where the liquid gets heated up and vaporized due to continuous heating of the liquid. For example, a puddle of water will evaporate on a cold day, though the rate of evaporation will be slower than it would be on a warm day. In contrast, boiling only occurs at the boiling point of the liquid. An example of condensation can be seen when drops of water form on the outside of a glass of ice water.

3. a.) Decantation can be used to separate immiscible liquids that have different densities. For example, when a mixture of water and oil is present in a beaker, a distinct layer between the two consistency is formed, with the oil layer floating on top of the water layer. b.) ea leaves can be isolated from tea by the filtration method. c.)Fine mud particles suspended in water – settling down with time or centrifugation. Usually mud particles are dense enough to settle down from water, if the vessel is left undisturbed for some time. But for a faster separation, centrifugation can be opted for which quickly settles down the mud particles as pellet

4. a.) Saturated Solution. A solution with solute that dissolves until it is unable to dissolve anymore, leaving the undissolved substances at the bottom. b.) a homogeneous noncrystalline substance consisting of large molecules or ultramicroscopic particles of one substance dispersed through a second substance. Colloids include gels, sols, and emulsions; the particles do not settle, and cannot be separated out by ordinary filtering or centrifuging like those in a suspension. c.) suspension is a heterogeneous mixture that contains solid particles sufficiently large for sedimentation

5. Homogeneous mixture Heterogeneous mixture

It has a uniform composition It has a non-uniform composition

It has only one phase There are two or more phases

It can't be separated out physically It can be separated out physically

'homo' means the same 'hetero' means different

6. 16 g of sulphur = 16 256 1 16 = moles = 0.125 moles 1 mole of S8 molecules = 6.023 × 1023 number of molecules ∴ 1 16 mole of S8 = 6.023 × 1023 number of molecules × 1 16

7. It is given that the ratio of hydrogen and oxygen by mass to form water is 1:8. Then, the mass of oxygen gas required to react completely with 1g of hydrogen gas is 8g. Therefore, the mass of oxygen gas required to react completely with 3g of hydrogen gas is 8 × 3g = 24 g.

The narrator in James Joyce's "Araby" dreams of romance before he visits the bazaar. Which statement best describes his feelings
irina1246 [14]
Although to me none of these options seem correct, I'd still choose 3. He realizes that he has been so caught up in dreams that he has failed to recognize the simple joys of everyday life.
This is the final sentence in Araby: "Gazing up into the darkness I saw myself as a creature driven and derided by vanity, and my eyes burned with anguish and anger."
You can see here that he is definitely not happy about his experiences at the bazaar - he realizes some truths about life and is completely crushed after that realization.
