Answer:

29 square yards

Step-by-step explanation:

see attachment for the graph

Vertices of rectangular pool are A(3,2),B(7,8),C (4,10), and D (0,4).

AB=\sqrt{(7-3)^{2}+(8-2)^{2}}= \sqrt{16+36}=\sqrt{52} yard=CD

BC= \sqrt{(7-4)^{2}+(8-10)^{2}}=\sqrt{9+4}=\sqrt{13}yard=DA

In order to find the area of rectangular pool =Length × Breadth

                                        =√52 ×√13=13×2=26 sq. yard

Vertices of triangle given are: P(5,2),Q(7,2) and R(7,5).

PQ= 2 units, QR= 3 units

Area of right triangle PQR=1/2 ×PQ×PR

                                           =1/2×2×3= 3 sq. yards

Next is to find total material needed to cover( that includes bot rectangular pool and triangular hot tub)

       = Area of rectangle + Area of right triangle

       =26+3=29 square yards

Pie

Answer:

5a^4+a^2b−6b^2

Step-by-step explanation:

1. Use the FOIL method: (a+b)(c+d)=ac+ad+bc+bd.

5a^4+6a^2b−5ba^2−6b^2

2. Collect like terms.

5a^4+(6a^2b−5a^2b)−6b^2

3. Simplify.

5a^4+a^2b−6b^2

Ben frank is an electrician who installs lighting fixtures. He charges (in dollars) his clients 15h + 40f where h is the number
Mandarinka [93]
Hi there! The answer is $465

The total cost can be found using the formula
15h + 40f

To find the amount of money Ben Frank charges, we need to plug in the data from the question.

h = number of hours worked = 7
f = number of fixtures installed = 9

15 \times 7 + 40 \times 9 = 105 + 360 = 465
Therefore, Ben Frank charges $465

~ Hope this helps you!

Mr. Marquis had a metal pipe that was 1,000 cm in length. He cut the pipe into 16 shorter pieces of equal length. How long was e
Ivenika [448]
This would mean 1000cm of pipe is distributed across 16 cuts, or 1000/16. This equals 62.5, or that each piece would be 62.5 centimeters long.
