B) I say this bcz I divided 30 by 24 and got 1.25

Profit=1.25(subscription)

(If someone else proves this wrong then I am sorry but I am in Middle School and my teacher just taught me this and I got an 100 so if it doesn't help I'm sorry) (I even used all those math calculator and word problem websites)

Find the area of polygon
Mumz [18]

Answer:

87 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

there is 1 triangle and 1 rectangle in the diagram. so you have to find the area of the both polygons and sum up to find the total area of polygon

area of triangle formula:

\frac{1}{2}  \times base \times height

1) area of triangle AED

base = 12 cm

height = 4.5 cm

area:

\frac{1}{2}  \times 12 \times 4.5 = 27 {cm}^{2}

area of rectangle formula:

length \times height

2) area of rectangle ABCD

length = 12cm

height = 5 cm

area:

12 \times 5 = 60 \: cm {}^{2}

3) area of whole polygon

= area of triangle AED + area of rectangle ABCD

= 27 cm² + 60 cm²

= 87 cm²

If 5<2x+3<11, what is the possible range of value of -4x-6
Lady bird [3.3K]

Answer:

-10 > (-4x - 6) > -22

Step-by-step explanation:

Given inequality is 5 < 2x + 3 < 11

Now we will multiply this inequality by (-2) resulting,

5(-2) > (2x + 3)(-2) > 11(-2)

-10 > (-4x - 6) > -22 (Sign of inequality gets reversed when the inequality is multiplied or divided by a negative number)

Therefore, the possible range of (-4x - 6) is between -22 and -10.

A truck that can carry no more than 6600 lb is being used to transport refrigerators and upright pianos. Each refrigerator weigh
gayaneshka [121]

250x + 525x = 6,600

250(11) + 525(6) = 6,600

2750 + 3150 = 6,600

5,900 = 6,600

So in conclusion, 11 refrigerators and 6 pianos will not overload the truck.

Hope this helped!
