1) Fungi multiply either sexually (Teliomorph) , asexually (Axamorph) or both

  • Asexual methods include fission, fragmentation, asexual spore formation.
  • Sexual methods include spermatization, gametic copulation, gametangium copulation.

2) Fungi grow as a tubular filaments known as hyphae. An interwoven mass of hyphae is called a mycelium.
