The correct answer is eukaryotic cells.

Microscopic subunits within the cell represent the organelles found only in complex eukaryotic cell. The communication between those organelles via signal molecules are also a good example of the functioning of eukaryotic cell.

Eukaryotic cell is a cell that contains a nucleus and organelles, and is enclosed by a plasma membrane.

Describe the anaerobic environment where lactic acid is produced. And describe the anaerobic environment where alcohol is produc
miskamm [114]
I’m not too sure what you mean by “aneorobic environment” but alcohol is produced by alcoholic fermentation. Lactic acid is produced in lactic acid fermentation, but they both start off with glycolysis because the whole point of fermentation is basically to produce oxygen when your body can’t inhale enough.

Species with homologous structures most likely:
nikitadnepr [17]

Species with more likely homologous structures share a common ancestor.

 • D. share a common ancestor.

What are example homologous structures?

The most correct definition for homology would be: They are structures of individuals, of different species or not, that were inherited from a common ancestor. The human arm is homologous to the horse's front leg. The bat's wing is homologous to the whale fin.

With this information, we can conclude that homologous have same embryological origin of structures from different organisms, and these structures may or may not have the same function

Photosynthesis transforms blank into chemical energy by blank sugars. Cellular respiration releases the blank from food by blank
creativ13 [48]

Photosynthesis and Cellular respiration, both cellular processes are important for life, however, we need to understand what happens to confirm this information....

Photosynthesis

Most life on Earth depends on photosynthesis. The process is carried out by plants, algae, and some types of bacteria, which capture energy from sunlight to produce oxygen (O2) and chemical energy stored in glucose (a sugar). Herbivores then obtain this energy by eating plants, and carnivores obtain it by eating herbivores.

Inside the plant cell are small organelles called chloroplasts, which store the energy of sunlight. Within the thylakoid membranes of the chloroplast is a light-absorbing pigment called chlorophyll, which is responsible for giving the plant its green color. During photosynthesis, chlorophyll absorbs energy from blue- and red-light waves, and reflects green-light waves, making the plant appear green.

Cellular respiration

Cellular respiration, the process by which organisms combine oxygen with foodstuff molecules, diverting the chemical energy in these substances into life-sustaining activities and discarding, as waste products, carbon dioxide and water.

One objective of the degradation of foodstuffs is to convert the energy contained in chemical bonds into the energy-rich compound adenosine triphosphate (ATP), which captures the chemical energy obtained from the breakdown of food molecules and releases it to fuel other cellular processes.
