Greek philosopher Aristotle and Plato would most likely agree with the statement A: A country's leader should be motivated by the common good of the country.

Both Plato and Aristotle were the fathers of western political philosophy. According to the ideas conveyed in the Politics by Aristotle and the Republic by Plato the society (polis) should be ruled by the most rational, qualified t members of the country.

What negotiations would you suggest for countries who are hostile toward each other
mina [271]
I would strongly suggest indaba. It allows each country to be heard and they can come to a conclusion quickly. They can only voice their opinion in a certain way. A country gives their Red Line in a diplomatic way and the other can respond with their hard limits.

What was the purpose of president john f. kennedys flexible response defense policy?
drek231 [11]

The Flexible response was a policy implemented by President John F. Kennedy in 1961 in order to substitute the New Look and the massive retaliation policy that Dwight Eisenhower's had introduced, which consisted on responding using a greater force in case of an attack, and such force involved nuclear weapons.

On the other hand, the flexible response policy aknowledges the Mutual assured destruction if nuclear weapons are involved, as the enemy with shoot back too. It aimed to provide a manner of responding to agression across the spectrum of war but without the employment of nuclear weapons.
