Answer:

Manifest Destiny is the idea that the United States was meant to stretch from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean or coast to coast.

Explanation:

Even during the time of colonization, the British looked to expand in the West, beyond the territories they had claimed. After gaining independence from Britain, Americans continued to look west, past the frontier for new land and a route to the Pacific Ocean. The idea of Manifest Destiny was used to justify American expansion all the way to the Pacific.

What took Lincoln so long to issue the emancipation proclimation
Snezhnost [94]
There were several reasons that Lincoln announced and implemented the Emancipation Proclamation at the end of 1862, early 1863. His basic goal was to turn the war from a political focus to a morally based focus. First, Lincoln was in a difficult situation, militarily. The North has lost most of the battles that had been fought, and many Northerners were beginning to grumble about the war. Lincoln hoped that the change to a moral focus on slavery would cement Northern support. In addition, several European countries, including England and France, were considering formal recognition of the Confederacy.

How do American consumers most benefit from globalization? Reducing costs for labor and resources lowers the prices of goods. Cr
Fynjy0 [20]

Answer:

Reducing costs for labor and resources lowers the prices of goods

Explanation:

The globalization process has been very beneficial for the large corporations, but also for the consumers in the more developed countries. The reason for that is that the corporations use cheaper resources, cheaper labor force, and cheaper materials. This results in making more profit, but also to be more competitive, the corporations lower the prices of their goods, so the consumers benefit from it as well, thus their buying power is increasing and they can afford more things for the same amount of money.
