Brayden has 38 bags.
After giving away 15 bags of marbles, Brayden is left with 23 bags.

To find out how many bags he has we do 342 divided by 9 which is 38.

To find out how many marbles are in 15 bags we do 15 x 9 which is 135.
We then do 342 - 135 to find out how many marbles he has left which is 207 and divide 207 by 9 to convert that into bags, which is 23.

Answer:

A

Step-by-step explanation:

<h3>Numerator</h3>

(3x)(3x) = 9x^2

√9x^2 = 3x

Numerator = 3x

<h3>Denominator</h3>

√18y^2 = √18 · √y^2

√18 = 3√2

√y^2 = y

3√2y

Denominator = 3√2y

Now we need to rationalize the denominator, and get rid of the square root on the bottom

\frac{3x}{3\sqrt{2} y} * \frac{3\sqrt{2} }{3\sqrt{2}} = \frac{6x\sqrt{2} }{12y} = \frac{x\sqrt{2} }{2y}

Divide. (–6m 7 + 20m 6) ÷ 2m 4 A. –3m 3 + 20m 6 B. –3m 3 + 10m 2 C. –6m 7 + 20m 2 D. –3m 7 + 10m 6 Reset Selection
allsm [11]
 ( –6m^7 + 20m^6<span>) ÷ 2m^4 = ???

as you know

</span> –6m^7 + 20m^6 = 2m^4 (-3m^3 + 10m^2)

[2m^4 (-3m^3 + 10m^2) ] / 2m^4 (2m^4 is canceled out)

= -3m^3 + 10m^2

answer is B. –3m^3 + 10m^2

One number is 6 more than another. Twice the larger number is 5 times the smaller.
tresset_1 [31]

Answer:

The smaller number is 4

Step-by-step explanation:

Larger number = x

Smaller number = y

Write 2 equations

y + 6 = x

2x = 5y

Substitute x in the first equation to the second equation

2(y + 6) = 5y

Multiply 2(y + 6)

2y + 12 = 5y

Subtract 2y from both sides of the equation

12 = 3y

Divide both sides of the equation by 3

y = 4

x = y + 6 = 4 + 6 = 10

The smaller number is 4

Hope this helps :)

WHAT THE HECC IS THIS
anyanavicka [17]

Answer:

h(x)

Step-by-step explanation:

to solve for an inverse, you swap the x and the y and then solve for y

f(x) = 4x^3-8

y = 4x^3 - 8

x = 4y^3 - 8   swap the x and y

now solve for y:

x + 8 = 4y^3

(x + 8)/4 = y^3

1/4x + 8/4 = y^3

1/4x + 2 = y^3

y = \sqrt[3]{1/4x + 2}
