Answer: From Earth POV, the new moon will appear to be completely dark, while the full moon, it will appear completely lit up

Explanation: In the new moon phase, the moon is in between sun and earth, the new moon phase is lit on the side of the moon thats facing the sun, while dark on the side facing the earth, in the full moon phase, the side of the moon facing the sun is also facing earth, making it visible completely.
