• Conflict with Rakhine State – the three minorities from this State have been in a long fight with the government. One of the more recent conflicts has happened in 2019. when they attached the police in an armed attack.

As of February 1st, 2021. Myanmar military has taken over the government and proclaimed a year-long emergency stated. This has happened once before and ended in many deaths. This conflict arose over the elections.
