A group of young patrons come into the venue after a sports event. They are loud and excited, celebrating a win for their team.

Some of the patrons seem as though they have already been drinking, and the other patrons in the venue have noticed this group.
A) How do you respond to these patrons? Issue the group with a warning to make sure they know the type of behaviour that the venue expects.
B) One of the patrons comes to the bar to order a few jugs of pre-mix alcoholic drinks for the group. Refuse service to the patron and explain why serving alcohol in this manner is irresponsible.
C) The patron is not happy that you have refused him service and he pressures you to serve the group the jugs of alcohol. More of the patron’s friends come over to the bar and start to make a scene, talking loudly for the rest of the venue to hear. D) How do you respond to this?
E) After you ask some of the patrons to leave the venue, others from the group start to get upset. They are getting more aggressive and you do not think you can handle the situation on your own. How do you respond to this?

The correct answers to these open questions are the following.

A) How do you respond to these patrons? Issue the group with a warning to make sure they know the type of behavior that the venue expects.

I would say something like this:

<em>"Good evening gentlemen. Welcome to our place. A pleasure to serve. I would like to kindly ask you, gentlemen, to do not get too loud to respect our other patrons in the room." </em>

B) One of the patrons comes to the bar to order a few jugs of pre-mix alcoholic drinks for the group. Refuse service to the patron and explain why serving alcohol in this manner is irresponsible.

I would say something like this:

<em>"Sir, with the utmost respect I have to tell you that this place has the policy to refrain to serve alcohol to patrons that do not order food. SO I ask you to understand this policy."</em>

C) The patron is not happy that you have refused him service and he pressures you to serve the group the jugs of alcohol. More of the patron’s friends come over to the bar and start to make a scene, talking loudly for the rest of the venue to hear. D) How do you respond to this?

I would say something like this:

<em>"Gentlemen, please, there is no need to behave like this. I am very respectful to you and offering a reasonable explanation. I again. please, calm down, or I would be forced to call security. There is no need to make this bigger. So please, calm down. Let me offer you some special non-alcoholic cocktails. It's on the house."</em>

E) After you ask some of the patrons to leave the venue, others from the group start to get upset. They are getting more aggressive and you do not think you can handle the situation on your own. How do you respond to this?

I would ask for the presence of our security ways and at the same time call the police and inform them about the situation. I wouldn't do this because I would be handling the situation. Previously, as part of pour systems and procedures, a member of my team would take these considerations and know that when a situation like this is presented, he/she knows what to do and take care of contacting security, and if things get worse, the police.

An investment has been growing at a fixed annual rate of 20% since it was first made; no portion of the investment has been with
Mademuasel [1]

Answer:

The correct option is 2

Explanation:

Let us assume the current value of the investment be x

And the annual growth factor of the investment is 1.2

1. The  investment value has increased or risen by 44% since it was first made

It is known that the combined growth factor of the investment is 1.44 and no information is stated regarding the actual ($) values. Therefore, the unique value could not be computed.

So, this statement lacks information and insufficient to solve for x.

2. 1 year ago, the withdrawn money worth is $600 and at present the worth of the investment would be 12% less than the actual worth.

1 year ago, the value of the investment was x / 1.2. So, the equation could be set up regarding the withdrawal.

The equation would be:

= (x/ 1.2- 600) × (1.2)

=0.88x

Therefore, the unique value to could be answered and the sufficient to answer.

NOTE: The options are missing. So I am providing the answer with the options.

The Good Chocolate Company makes a variety of chocolate candies, including a 12-ounce chocolate bar (340 grams) and a box of six
joja [24]

Answer:

A) ≈ 3.509 grams

B) The process is not capable because the lowest Cpk which is 1.89 ≈ 1.9 is far from the ideal 1.33 capability index number ( NO )

c) 1.051 ounces

Explanation:

A) The largest standard deviation ( in grams)

This can be calculated applying the capability index formula and according to the capability index formula the value at which a process is capable is at  : 1.33

hence the largest standard deviation =  upper limit - lower limit / 6 * 1.33

 ( 354 - 326 ) / 7.98 = 3.5087 ≈ 3.509 grams

B) we first calculate the process mean and std of the box

standard deviation = \sqrt{variance }

std of the six-bar box = \sqrt{6*0.86^2}  = 2.106

process mean = 6 * ( 1.03 * 28.33) = 175.079

the mean is not centered between the upper specification and the lower specification hence we will apply the formulae used in calculating the capability index for an uncentered process

Cpk = (upper value - process mean) / (3 * std of box),

         = (187 - 175.079) / ( 3 * 2.106) = 11.921 / 6.318 = 1.89

Cpk =  (process mean -  lower value ) / (3*std of box)

       = ( 175.079 - 153 ) / (3 * 2.106) = 22.079 / 6.318 = 3.49

The process is not capable because the lowest Cpk which is 1.89 ≈ 1.9 is far from the ideal 1.33 capability index number ( N0 )

c ) lowest setting

calculate the value of the mean using capability index of 1.33

Cpk = (upper value - mean ) / 3 * std

mean = 187 - 1.33 * 3 * 2.106

           = 187 - 8.40 = 178.60 grams

Cpk = ( process mean - lower value ) / 3 * std

 mean = 1.33 * 3 * 2.106 + 153

            = 8.40 + 153 = 161.40 grams

the lowest setting in ounces

= 178.60 / ( 6 bar * 28 .33)

= 178.60 / 169.98 = 1.051 ounces
