Answer:

Part A=2cm²

Part B =The area of each triangle will be 1cm²

Explanation:

Part A

Area of parallelogram similar to that of rectangle =length x width

Area of the parallelogram= 3 x 2/3

= 2cm²

Part B

If you draw a line from A to C or B to D the form 2 triangles

Area of a triangle =1/2 x base x Height

=1/2 x 3 x 2/3

= 6/6

= 1cm²

Therefore both triangles are 1cm²

Sorry for not explaining at first I submitted the answer by accident

Which of the following vectors can be written as a linear combination of the vectors (1, 1, 2), (1, 2, 1) and (2, 1, 5)? (0.4,3.
anastassius [24]

Answer with explanation:

Let, A=[1,1,2]

B=[1,2,1]

C=[2,1,5]

⇒Now, Writing vector , A in terms of Linear combination of C and B

A=x B +y C

⇒[1,1,2]=x× [1,2,1] + y×[2,1,5]

1.→1 = x +2 y

2.→ 1=2 x +y

3.→ 2= x+ 5 y

Equation 3 - Equation 1

→3 y=1

y=\frac{1}{3}

1=x+\frac{2}{3}\\\\x=1 -\frac{2}{3}\\\\x=\frac{1}{3}

So, Vector A , can be written as Linear Combination of B and C.

⇒Now, Writing vector , B in terms of Linear combination of A and C

Now, let, B = p A+q C

→[1,2,1]=p× [1,1,2] +q ×[2,1,5]

4.→1= p +2 q

5.→2=p +q

6.→1=2 p +5 q

Equation 5 - Equation 4

-q =1

q= -1

→2= p -1

→p=2+1

→p=3

So, Vector B , can be written as Linear Combination of A and C.

⇒Now, Writing vector , C in terms of Linear combination of A and B

C=m A + n B

[2,1,5] = m×[1,1,2] + n× [1,2,1]

7.→2= m+n

8.→1=m +2 n

9.→5=2 m +  n

Equation 8 - Equation 7

n= -1

→m+ (-1)=2

→m=2+1

→m=3

So, Vector C , can be written as Linear Combination of A and B.

So, All the three vectors , A=[1,1,2],B=[1,2,1],C=[2,1,5] can be written as Linear combination of each other.

⇒≡But , the two vectors, (0.4,3.7,-1.5) (0.2,0),can't be written as Linear combination of each other as first vector is of order, 1×3, and second is of order, 1×2.

Is this true or false!!!
IceJOKER [234]

Answer:

true

Step-by-step explanation:

This is true because the basic graph of a fifth degree polynomial with a positive coefficient goes right and up forever(encapsulating y-values until infinity) and left and down forever(encapsulating y-values until negative infinity). This means the range is all real numbers.

Below is a graph to comprehend it more visually:

a certain flight arrives on time percent of the time. suppose flights are randomly selected. use the normal approximation to the
iVinArrow [24]

The probability that exactly 128 flights are on time is 88.27% and the probability that atleast 1 flight is on time is 0.022.

Given that the chances of reaching the flight on time be 88%.

We are required to find the probability that exactly 128 flights are on time, atlleast 1 flight on time.

Probability is basically the calculation of likeliness of happening an event among all the events possible. It lies between 0 and 1.

Probability=Number of items/Total items.

It cannot be negative.

Probability that the flight will be on time if one flight is selected=0.88

Probability that exactly 128 flights are on time=

128=1145*P/100

P=12800/145

P=88.27%

b) Atleast 1 flight is on time

=(128C_{0}(0.88)^{0} (0.12)^{1}+128C_{1} (0.88)^{1} (0.12)^{11})/128

=(0.12+128*0.88*0.245)/128

=(0.12+2.575)/128

=0.022

Hence the probability that exactly 128 flights are on time is 88.27% and the probability that atleast 1 flight is on time is 0.022.
